Reset Your FN1000 Time Clock
Need to restart your time clock or restore factory settings? This guide explains how to reset a FN1000 time clock.
To reset the FN1000 time clock:
To simply restart the time clock, press the Reset button on the device.
To factory reset your FN1000 time clock:
- Move the Set switch to the “0” position (to the right).
- Press the +, Clear, and Mode keys simultaneously until you hear three beeps.
- Finally, move the Set switch back to the “–” position (to the left).
NOTE: Setting the clock to factory reset will restore the default values, including Date, Time, Time Signal, Print Color Options, and Printing Position. It will not reset menus HN3, HN4, or HN5.
To reset the HN3, HN4, and HN5 menus on your FN1000 time clock:
- Remove the front panel with the provided key.
- Locate and move the Set Switch from left to right. The clock print head will center itself.
- Press Mode (Button 6) until HN3 appears on the display.
- Hold the first OUT(#2) button on the left and the last IN(#5) and OUT(#6) buttons on the right simultaneously for 5 seconds.
- Release the buttons when you see HN1 on the screen.
This will clear all settings in HN2, HN3, and HN4.
