Assign an RFID Card for the MK1000
RFID badges or cards can be assigned to employees either in the Excel setup file when adding a new employee or directly at the MK1000 time clock. This article explains how to add an RFID card to an existing user at the clock for secure and convenient punching.
To assign an RFID card:
- Press [Menu].
- Select User Mgt and press [OK].
- Select UserView and press [OK].
- Select the employee from the list and press [OK].
- Select Edit and press [OK].
- Select Card and press [OK].
- The clock will prompt for the card number. Tap the card to the reader. The card number should appear. If it does not, manually enter the card number using the keypad.
- Press [ESC] once.
- Press [OK] to save the card number.
- Press [ESC] repeatedly to exit the menus or simply allow the menus to time out.
