Mount the FN1000 Time Clock to a Wall

This guide explains how to securely mount your FN1000 time clock to a wall. Proper installation ensures reliable operation and protects the device from environmental damage.

Before You Begin

• Choose a suitable location: Install the time clock away from:
  • Excessive moisture (Operating Humidity: 10–80%)
  • Extremely low or high temperatures (Operating Temperature: –22°F to +104°F)
  • Direct sunlight, dust, mechanical vibration, and shock
  • Sources of noise or electrical interference
• Power access: Ensure the selected location allows the device to be connected to a power source.
• Mounting hardware: Use anchors and screws appropriate for the wall material. 
  • Drill hole diameter may vary depending on anchor type.

To mount your FN time clock:

1. Drill two holes in the wall, each 1/10” in diameter and spaced 4 ½” apart.
2. Insert the anchors into the holes, then insert the screws into the anchors.
3. Hang the time clock on the screws.

Ideal mounting height: 36–40” from the base of the time clock to the ground.
