Set a Password on the CR1000 (with video guide)

Setting a password on your CR1000 helps prevent unauthorized changes to device settings. Once a password is set, you will need to enter it every time you make configuration changes.

Important Notes:

  • Passwords can be any 4-digit number from 0001 to 9998.
  • 0000 and 9999 are not valid passwords.
  • If you forget the password, all settings must be reset.
