Summary Report: Total Hours on the MK3000

The MK3000 Summary report, commonly referred to as the Total Hours report, provides a high-level view of employee attendance totals for a selected date range.

What the Summary Report Shows

Each employee appears in a single row with the totals for the entire date range of the report and provides:

  • Total regular hours worked vs. the scheduled hours
  • Number of late arrivals and total minutes for all late arrivals
  • Number of early departures and total minutes for all early departures
  • Total overtime hours
  • Scheduled work days vs. actual days worked
  • Any missed work days

Work Hours (Normal / Actual)

  • Normal hours: Total scheduled hours based on assigned shifts (Sec type = 0)
  • Actual hours: Total hours worked within those sections, based on validated punch pairs

Calculations follow the same section-based logic as the Schedule report, where time is counted per section only when a valid in/out pair exists.

Late Minutes

The Late minutes track late arrivals across the report period based on your set Shift Attendance Rules:

  • Times – Number of occurrences an employee arrived late
  • Minutes – Total minutes late across all occurrences

Leave Minutes

The Leave minutes tracks early departures across the report period based on your set Shift Attendance Rules:

  • Times – Number of occurrences an employee left early
  • Minutes – Total minutes left early

OT Hours (Overtime)

  • Normal – Total scheduled overtime hours (Sec type = 1)
  • Actual – Total overtime hours worked based on punches

Work Dates (Normal / Actual)

  • Normal – Total number of days in the selected date range
  • Actual – Number of days the employee worked (based on valid punch activity)

All days within the report’s date range are counted as work days. There is no option to limit or exclude specific days.
