Select Your Pay Period:

Choose how often your employees are paid. The pay period in the app must match the pay period on the device. You can choose from:

  • Weekly: when paid once a week.
  • Biweekly: when paid every other week.
  • Semimonthly: when paid twice a month.
  • Monthly: when paid once a month.

Each option determines how your pay periods repeat and which additional details you will need to enter, such as the start of your workweeks or pay periods.

For a Weekly pay period:

A weekly pay period covers 7 consecutive days and begins on the same day of the week, each week. If you track weekly or bi-weekly overtime, your overtime will align with your workweek.

  1. Select the start of your workweek.
  2. Tap Next to preview your pay periods.
  3. If you need to make adjustments, tap the Back icon in the top left of the screen.
  4. If everything looks correct, tap Save to enter your Time Settings.

For a Biweekly pay period:

A biweekly pay period covers 14 days and starts on the same day of the week, every other week. If you track weekly or bi-weekly overtime, your overtime will align with your workweek.

  1. Select the date you want to start the pay period.
  2. Tap Next to preview your pay periods.
  3. If you need to make adjustments, tap the Back icon in the top left of the screen.
  4. If everything looks correct, tap Save to enter your Time Settings.

For a Semimonthly pay period:

A semimonthly pay period means you are paid twice a month, typically on the 15th and the last day of the month.

When setting the pay periods, you will select the days you want the pay periods to start on. The pay periods will always start on the same two days every month. Pay periods don't always have the same number of days, since months vary in length.

If you track weekly or bi-weekly overtime, your overtime will not always align with your pay period - it will be based on the start of the workweek.

  1. Select the start of the workweek.
  2. Select the two days each month the pay periods begin.
  3. Tap Next to preview your pay periods.
  4. If you need to make adjustments, tap the Back icon in the top left of the screen.
  5. If everything looks correct, tap Save to enter your Time Settings.

  1. Select the start of the workweek.
  2. Select the day of the month when the pay period begins.
  3. Tap Next to preview your pay periods.
  4. If you need to make adjustments, tap the Back icon in the top left of the screen.
