MK3000 Keypad Characters

Keypad Characters

To edit data on the time clock, switch between capital letters, lowercase letters, and numbers by pressing [MENU]. You will use the numeric keypad to enter numbers, letters, and symbols.

The following tips will help you use the keypad to enter letters or symbols.

Entering Letters

1. Press [MENU] to select capital letters or lowercase letters. 
2. Press the key containing the letter you wish to enter until the desired letter displays.
3. Press the key containing the next letter you wish to enter until the desired letter displays.

Switching to Numbers

1. Press [Menu] until the screen shows numbers.
2. Use the keypad to select the numbers you wish to enter.

Entering Symbols

• Press [MENU] to switch to capital letters or lowercase letters. 
• Press 1 until the desired symbol appears.

Adding and Deleting Spaces

• To delete a character: Press the down arrow.
• To enter a space: Press the up arrow.
