Enable or Disable the Power Button on the MK3000

Powering off the MK3000 can help during troubleshooting, relocation, or extended downtime. The Power Off setting allows a safe shutdown directly from the menu.
 

To enable or disable the Power Off feature on the MK3000:

1. Press [Menu].
2. Select System, and press [OK].
3. Select Device setup, and press [OK].
4. Select Power off and press [OK].
   
   
    
5. Select:
   • No to disable the ability to power the device off.
   • Yes to enable the ability to power the device off.
6. Press [OK].
7. When finished, press [ESC] once.
8. The time clock will prompt you with “Save?”, press [OK].

To turn off the MK3000:

1. Press and hold the ◉ power button.
2. Continue holding the power button until the device powers off.

To turn on the MK3000: 

1. Press the ◉ power button.
