Change the Printed Hour Format on the CR1000: 12-Hour or 24-Hour
The CR1000 allows you to choose whether printed time appears in 12-hour format (AM/PM) or 24-hour format. This setting affects how the hour is displayed on your stamped documents and works alongside the minute format setting.
Notes:
- The Print Order Setting controls the sequence and structure of the printed date and time (e.g., Year-Month-Day vs Month-Day-Year). It does not affect whether the hour uses AM/PM or 24-hour format.
- The Hour Format setting is a separate setting and only changes the display on the clock (12-hour vs 24-hour).
To change the printed hour format on your CR1000:
- Press SELECT until the ▲ is under HOUR/MIN.
- The flashing digit indicates Type of Hour.

- Press CHANGE until the display shows your desired option. Refer to the Hour Format Options table below.
- Press SET. Then press SET again twice to return to normal operation.
